I was a student athlete all throughout school and played every sport that i could. I found that I only enjoyed the training aspect of it which is when I realized I enjoyed track and cross country running the most. It became so much a part of my life that even after graduating I continued to train for local races. I programmed for myself and saw results and progress but felt like after 7 years of endurance training, it was time for something new.
I was somewhat reluctant to try Crossfit but my sister insisted I try a class so she brought me along for one. I immediately fell in love with crossfit as soon as i tried it. I joined a gym as soon as I could. I liked that I was humbled by all of the movements and everyone's strength. Crossfit challenged me in a way nothing else could. I wanted to learn as much as I could as quickly as i could. I began going to the gym daily and immersed myself into the methodology as much as possible and I eventually attended to Crossfit certification course to hopefully inspire others like my coaches inspired me.
