About Sarah

I have been doing Crossfit at Kingston Athletics since 2012. A good friend brought me in to give it a try and I was hooked from that moment. After almost 7 years of Crossfit my life both within and outside of the sport has changed dramatically.

With a background primarily in ballet and dance, sports and weight lifting were never a part of my life. I used to hate going to the gym before Crossfit! There was something different and special about this community that was addicting! It was incredible how hard everyone worked in each class and how encouraging and supportive every single member was. I began with going to 3 classes a week but that quickly turned into more.

In the past 6 years, I’ve had 2 children. You may see them around frequently as they have literally grown up here! I was blessed to be able to continue Crossfit through both pregnancies, nearly to the end, and returned 6 weeks after each child was born. Each pregnancy presented different challenges, but I can say that it was 100% worth continuing to work out while pregnant. I’m looking forward to being able to work with women through their pregnancies to show them that you CAN keep working out and will be better for it!

I feel so fortunate to have had some amazing coaches in both Olivia & Sean before becoming a coach myself. It has been a blessing and a privilege to join the KA team and work with our fantastic members and see how much effort they put in every single day while supporting them in their fitness journey!

As a teacher, mom and now coach I get to put all my passions together in one amazing and life changing way!
